Shane Albers is a capital markets, real estate development and finance entrepreneur and executive. During his career, he has raised and allocated several billion dollars in debt and equity with a focus on real estate and development across numerous asset classes.

Mr. Albers’ extensive experience in capital markets, real estate lending, and development spans several decades.  As the Founder, Chief Executive Officer, and Manager of 1784 Holdings, Mr. Albers allocates capital for the company and strategically oversees the investment activities of acquisition, development and disposition of properties.

Shane Albers’ tenure in the financial industry includes serving as Founder, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer of IMH  Financial Corporation, an Arizona mortgage bank.  His leadership with IMH included a capital raise of more than $1 billion in equity and placement of $1.5 billion in commercial lending. He was also a Founding Investor and Director for Metro Phoenix Bank.

In 2012, Mr. Albers formed Bakken Communities, LLC,  and remains a Managing Member of the real estate development company.  The company focuses its efforts on multi-family, industrial, and self-storage in energy-related geographic markets.

Since forming 1784 Holdings, Shane Albers  has led its self-storage portfolio growth, as well as its subsidiary  1784 Solar, LLC.  The solar subsidiary has been focused on government-backed commercial solar projects in Ontario, Canada. 

Shane Albers is a graduate of the University of Arizona. His philanthropic interests include efforts to support improvements in public health, education, and medical research.
